RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALUM MO HEART HOSTS NEW SERIES “LIFE AFTER THE RACE” FEATURING BIPOC QUEENS FROM THE HIT TV FRANCHISE

Drag artist and entertainer Mo Heart premieres Life After The Race, a show highlighting professional obstacles and achievements of Black and Brown Queens from previous seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The new series features appearances by notable RPDR alumni, including Yvie Oddly, Manila Luzon, Silky Ganache, Jessica Wild, and Mariah Balenciaga.

It explores the drastic impact of reality television fame, and the uphill battle of garnering success in both the drag entertainment and media industries.

“I am so delighted to kick off this series with some of my favorite entertainers from the Drag Race franchise,” said Mo Heart. “I wanted to give space to BIPOC Queens to share their experience pre, during and post filming the show.”

Mo Heart is best known for competing on the 10th season of RuPaul's Drag Race, the fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars, and RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs the World.

She is also the host of Amazon Music’s original series The Walk In, where she’s interviewed celebrities like Kim Petras, Meghan Trainor, and Lil Nas X on iconic fashion moments throughout their careers.

“The fans want to know how these artists are doing, and it’s imperative to create space for our voices, and to show how this industry has impacted our lives for the better, or sometimes for the worse.”

The new series is executive produced by RŌWEHAUS, a full-service media company that specializes in multidimensional creative thinking through strategy, content, and experiences.

With end-to-end production and marketing strategy capabilities, the LA-based company champions diverse stories and perspectives, and brings ideas to life with intentionality and authenticity.

“We are so thrilled and honored to partner with Mo on Life After The Race,” said AJ Rowe, Founder and CEO of RŌWEHAUS. “All of these stories are beautifully complex and entertaining, and I hope the incredible work and perseverance of these Queens will be an inspiration for the next generation of drag superstars.”

The series will be the company’s first production under their new brand and mission, dedicated to elevating the intersectionality of Black Queer and Black Womxn voices, both on-screen and behind the scenes.

“I was very excited to partner with my amazingly-creative friend,” Mo Heart shared about the collab. “AJ is creating an extraordinary path for himself in this industry, and I can’t wait to work with him on season two!”

Life After The Race premiers in early August, exclusively on YouTube.
